Career Club

Is Career Club free? Yes, Career Club is free for all students.

What about the Spring/Summer Internship? Is that free? There is a sliding scale fee for the spring/summer internship, based on HUD median income levels. Please contact us if you have questions.

When does Career Club take place? Career Club takes place year round. Group meetings take place from 4-5:30 p.m. on Mondays, individual meetings with advisors take place on your schedule. Contact SIU to learn more.

When does the Spring/Summer Internship take place? Eligibilty forms for the spring/summer are due by March 30, the kick-off will take place on Monday, April 2, and Internships will start the end of June, following the end of school.

Do I get paid for the summer internship? Yes, youth who particpate in an internship are paid a stipend, although the amount varies depending on the number of hours you complete.
