Welcome to the Program Section of our website! Step It Up, Inc. has three programs to help students obtain high school graduation credit for career-related learning experiences (CRLEs) in the state of Oregon, gain important information on how to access the workforce, and achieve their career and educational goals. This summer program connects incoming high school freshman, freshman, sophomores, and sometimes juniors with career, college, and scholarship online research and workshops, as well as field trips, speakers, and discussion groups. The main purpose of this program is to teach teens how to build confidence, succeed in life, and make the right choices for themselves. 2010 Application is now closed, check back for the 2011 application soon. This program, available to selected high school juniors, helps them experience and clarify their career interests. Accepted students attend a series of workshops to learn basic business practices, resume tips, and interview skills. They are also connected with career-relevant learning experiences and activities through our business partners. Online application for 2011 will be available soon. Career Achievement Mentoring ProgramThis program provides high school seniors and college students with individualized assistance in such areas as career mentoring, financial management, applications for financial aide, scholarship applications, and other resources needed to achieve their individual career and educational goals.
