It started last week. Painting, tearing down walls, patching sheet rock, putting in electical outlets, so much work has gone into Step It Up's new space! We are very excited to be moving into our bigger office, where we will be able to host our programs in house (which for the last couple of years hasn't been possible), implement our earned income strategies (need to rent a meeting room? Contact us!), and better connect to our community. Thanks to our contractor Glen from Alegis Construction (who has generously donated much of the constuction costs), our hard working volunteer Tom, who has done most of the demolition, painting, and sheet rocking, and a group of cleaning volunteers, our space has gone from THIS:

We can't wait to move in, and hope that you will join us in celebrating our new office on May 4, 2011 with an Open House. Come check out the new space (which will hopefully be put all together!), meet the board and staff, check out the happenings of the Career Club, and have fun!
